First ROV Pilot course of 2025

The upcoming course, taking place from March 10th to March 19th, is designed to provide specialized training in maritime safety and operations, aligning with industry standards and recognized certifications.

Held at the Direcção de Faróis – Autoridade Marítima Nacional in Paço de Arcos, Lisbon, this program is a collaborative effort between the Maritime Authority and the Navy.

It follows the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) guidelines for the oil & gas sector, ensuring that participants gain relevant, up-to-date skills for offshore and maritime operations.

In addition, the course will incorporate the Navy’s protocols for the maritime and scientific sectors, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both fields. The program culminates in a final test on March 19th, providing participants with an official certification recognized by the Navy.
