Underwater Training Park
Our 4160 m² marine park provides a realistic training environment for underwater missions. Within this space, trainees can practice inspecting a variety of scenarios, including marine structures, submerged objects, pipes, and much more.

Giancarlo was my trainer at the ROV training course and he is a professional multi-skilled individual coupled with a very well experienced ROV Superintendent. The pedagogy approach was very good oriented and in accordance with IMCA guidance. Giancarlo was always looking at the student to understand and learn all the module of the training program with the highest standards; like Fiber Optic, Electricity and Hydraulic, all these focused in the ROVs, its maintenance and repair. The Piloting training scenario was developed by Giancarlo and student can perform like in real operation found in offshore industry.
Giancarlo is very skillful ROV Pilot, Technician and of course instructor, giving to safety first of personnel and after to project the maximum priority with team friendly attitude make the ROV team members feel like being in a family in offshore project and of course his students when he is in the academy as an instructor, he is the right person to be your supervisor and instructor, i had the pleasure to have him as instructor and i hope one day being my supervisor.
The instructor takes a lot of pride in his work and teaches at very calm pace which helped me to mantain my focus during the entire course. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The Assessor also had no issue to explain subject were not cover on the material for a better overview and understanding of the subject.
I came into contact with the Atlantis Robotics ROV Pilot school by word of mouth. Professional, the courses are clear and discursive in a relaxed cline. Provides many hours of piloting compared to other schools. Highly recommended!

I attended this course in its first edition in Portugal (October- November 2024) and the way it was organized was a surprise for me. Professional and thorough trainers with a lot of experience in the field who always try to pass on information to the students in an enlightening way. The course is an asset, as it combines the theoretical part with the practical part, where many hours of piloting the ROV are provided. The facilities are good and also the scenario in which the ROV is piloted is adapted to the operations that can be carried out in reality. If you plan to fly, don't forget: 'Easy easy’.
